“The drowned forest” is a digital exhibition that artistically deals with the fossil fuel coal. The focus of the multimedia work is on environmentally relevant topics. With my work I want to show that coal is more multifaceted than you initially think. The six different, colourful works stand out on the simply designed website. Every work, whether illustration or animation, is introduced by the title and a close-up picture, followed by a short information text on the topic and finally the artwork itself.
This project was developed as part of my bachelors's thesis at the Mainz University of Applied Sciences in Germany. Visit the website here: der-ertrunkene-wald.de
