Poster for my first solo exhibition. The exhibition presents a collection of artworks from the past four years. Thematically, the works range from music, film, pop culture, nature, design, and cosmology, and appear predominantly experimental and abstract. The name is inspired by the state of being so engrossed in a project or work of art that you feel like you‘re being sucked into the screen. Hours, days, and weeks of concentrated work at the computer until your eyes desperately need a break, but you just keep going, forgetting everything around you. From intense periods of staring, doubting, experimenting, through creative dead ends and new beginnings to countless files and megabytes to finally have the one image that feels right.
